Prior to commencing Jazz Studies at WAAPA, Glyn toured England, Scotland and Wales with the Kalamunda Youth Swing Band. He then went on to complete a Bachelor of Jazz piano at WAAPA during which time he received the “Most Improved Jazz Player” Award from the International Association of Jazz Educators. After returning from a year of performance in Canada in 2001, Glyn has become one of Perth ’s most in demand jazz pianists. He has performed with James Morrison, Judith Durham, Rufus Reid, Perth vocalists Bronwyn Way, Elle Deslanders, Ali Bodycoat, and the groups Hothouse and Salamander . He also performs with his own trio, which has released a number of albums between 2000 and 2004.
